It’s so easy to forget those early days when you wanted to find out about Moodle for the first time. After a while the memory dims!

What is WordPress?

What does this plugin do?
The DB Authentication with PHPass is a replacement for Moodle’s standard database authentication plugin. The new authenication pluign allows moodle to authenticate users against a wordpress installation that uses PHPass to encrypt passwords.
April 13th, 2010 – ZiLink was presented to the Moodle community for the first time and judging by the response throughout the two days of MoodleMootUK, it was a great success!
For the first time schools can expect and achieve genuine interoperability between their management information system and Moodle. Plus, they can also meet the September 2010 target of being able to report online to parents about their child’s attainment, progress, attendance, behaviour and SEN information.
SchoolsICT is keen to extend the notion of parental engagement beyond online reporting and seek ways and technologies that truly enable a conversation between parents and teachers. The obvious solution is to make full use of the current capabilities of Moodle and extend Moodle to include one-click access for parents to teachers, comments and feedback about work, and a messaging system that is simple and reliable for everyone to use.
ZiLink is sustainable, affordable and scaleable solution to the problem of interoperability of disparate systems in schools.

What does this block do?
The Zimbra SSO Block allows single sign on integration 
between Moodle and Zimbra. When the users click on the ‘My Email’ link it will automatically sign the users in to their Zimbra account in another window.
