Discovering Moodle

Using Moodle for the first time can be a bit of a ‘head-scratcher’, especially if you have not worked online before.

OK, your school has just installed Moodle and you know that it’s a learning platform but not much else.

All sorts of questions enter your mind such as, “What can I use it for?”, “Do I have to teach my students how to use it?”, “How can I find the time to learn something new?”, “It looks complicated so where do I start?”, “I don’t want to go on a course, I need help when I’m trying to do something!”

Quite often too many of these initial questions remain unanswered and people feel discouraged and maybe even put their use of Moodle to the back of their mind.

Don’t be discouraged, help is at hand!

Join us today and find out more about Moodle at your own pace and when you have time to take on board new techniques and reflect on the changes you are making to your own pedagogy.

You can use Moodle at any level from a simple creating a web page of information to adding Rubrics to support your students learning.
